Their baby, Ford is 17 months old and one of the happiest little kids around.
This last Sunday night he spiked a temperature and threw up, so they took him to the ER at Jordan Valley Hospital. He was diagnosed with RSV and taken in an ambulance to Riverton Hospital. Tuesday, he was getting worse and needed more monitoring and was lifeflighted to the PICU at Primary Children's Hospital.
The nurses and doctors told Clare and Kris that today is usually the day the RSV peaks, so they hoped he would start getting better by tomorrow. However, today they found his RSV has turned to bacterial pneumonia, one lung is partially collapsed, and both are filling up with stuff. They are preparing to intubate him to conserve his strength and start antibiotics.
