One Month

Before I say much else let me just state for the record that I am growing weary of this drive to Provo. Today there was an overturned belly load truck that really sphinctered traffic to a halt. (inside joke) I was on I15 for almost 2 hours.

Something else that goes without saying is that we are not professional bloggers doing this for the advertising dollars. Today there really isn't anything new to tell. They are getting into a routine of physical therapy, speech therapy and working her lungs with different settings on the ventilator. By the time we get here in the evening Clare is worn out and we watch her sleep. We will keep this updated when something new comes along, but there might not be something every day to tell.

She is making small progress every day. Some days she doesn't do all of the things she did the day before but she has not slid backwards.

Thank you all for your continued prayers and concerns. We are still grateful for all of the tender mercies that we feel coming our way.

  1. Thank you for keeping this blog and adding updates about Kris and Clare. It has been nice to be able to keep up on how Clare is doing and all the little baby steps she is making. We are continually thinking of all of you and praying for you.

  2. I am so appreciative for these blogs and want to thank you for them. I imagine that you may not realize how many of us check your blog first thing every morning. Clare's recovery to this point feels like a miracle to me and I thank Heavenly Father and the Faith and prayers of her family and the community who love her. I want you to know that I also pray for you and her family who have been wounded emotionally and need the physical endurance to continue on.
    Love to You

  3. I am amazed and grateful that you have time to think of the rest of us that are praying and fasting for Kris, Clare and their families. We know you have many other things to think abot and spend your energy on. We check on your blogspot daily. You are in our prayers always and thank you again for the updates. We love these kids.

  4. I can't imagine having to drive through the construction everyday... We drive through it twice a year when we come visit and that is enough! Thanks for the blog, it helps keep us informed that live far away and wish we could do more than pray and fast. We totally understand if you don't post everyday, it is nice just to be able to get the updates when they happen. You all are in our thoughts everyday, we will keep praying for Clare, Kris, and you all from AZ.
